In addition to their extensive methodological knowledge South Research staff have a range of technical expertise (including agriculture and forestry, micro-credit, gender, lobbying and advocacy.)

Areas of Activity undertaken by South Research
In 2003 the team of consultants from South Research devoted approximately 38% of their time to evaluations and applied research, 31% to project and programme management and 22% to support organisational development. During the same period approximately 9% of our time was spent on providing services in the area of institutional development.
